1st Assignment

Our first assignment is to take a photo of a place we regularly visit.  The idea is to take a photo of the same thing each month to watch how the seasons change.  I chose to take the photo from the sidewalk in front of our house.  That is where all my flower beds are.  My Daffodils are out and I can see the Tulips peaking out of the ground.  I also took a picture of some flowers that only bloom in the late winter.  Today it is snowing so they looked pretty with a sugar coating of snow.  This is a fun exercise and I will be looking forward to watching my flowers change as the seasons do.

This is the view fromt he sidewalk.  The naked "tree" is the Butterfly Bush that my husband "arborited" (his word for cutting it back) in the fall.  You can see the daffodils as they bravely stand against the cold and if you look closely you can see where the tulips are poking their leaves out of the ground.

Here are the winter flowers.  I can't remember what they are called.  I must look that up.  I will update this post when I figure it out.

  1. I am so thrilled that you decided to join in with 12 Months in View. And amazed that you start a blog to do it! :)
